DMLS titanium 3D microstructures design
Using some mathematics we can now design and generate 3D microstructures and patterns within and on round and or curved surfaces. The pattern design is driven by a research focused on the fit and repetition of elements, that are sharing some similarity, and with a non repetitive element. The non repetitive aspect is forming a pattern that perceptually is stimulating a greater challenge and aesthetic experience.
The generative 3D structure form and orientation was created by Assa Ashuach to achieve a better and healthier titanium DMLS manufacturing – Direct Metal sintering (metal 3D printing)
